Beta release of 360 Content Platform

ADII released its 360 content platform today, and has put it into beta test with a new regional information portal Orissa360.com. The web portal proudly carries approximately 25000 business names in yellow pages directory apart from many other attractive features like news, digest, events and infopedia.

The content platform has been built on the social information aggregation principle with each unit of information tagged with topical data. In the process, the entire information database has been classified into limited number of categories and sub-categories. The search facility provided on the website enables user to make quick queries to have desired information in seconds.

There are three major components that form the platform. The most important core component allows the authors and content editors to manage content. This component is entirely independent from the other two. The second component is the publishing engine that creates the public pages (both dynamic and static) in a regular interval or on demand. The third component is the classification engine, which independently indexes and classifies data and information from the central database and builds a data warehouse for public consumption. All public pages access this data warehouse and not the central database.

ADII Director and CEO, Ashwini Kumar Rath, foresees the enhancements to be made to this platform in the next 18 months to build a full-fledged scalable information portal that can be deployed for any high-traffic situation.
